Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff. Fire safety training should be carried out with your staff every 12 months. In some circumstances, you should provide additional training. Factors that may prompt this include: An incident occurs in your industry, which impacts on your own business and safety procedures.
